| LOWER PRICES |
| Gibson-Air offers the most cost-effective service available. The basis of this economy is our labour rate which, at $49.00 per hour, is the lowest in the industry. This includes overtime and emergency calls at the same hourly rate. Our staff are all salaried rather than hourly paid employees. The savings accrued from this factor are important because, unlike hourly workers, we are not tempted to spend more time on a job than is necessary, in order to round out an otherwise short day. Furthermore, there is no impetus to "sell" service that is of dubious benefit merely to gain payable hours for our staff. Gibson-Air is unique in that it offers no parts bonus to our employees. Most other service groups encourage sales with commission on parts or other inducements, often resulting in the unnecessary replacement of components. |

| QUALITY SERVICE |
| As mentioned above, our wage policy not only contributes to cost efficiency but fosters a more diligent effort on the part of our staff. Even on pre-quoted fixed price work, our people are not constrained by any flat-rate time frame on the part of our managers. We stress not only technical skills but also communicative ability. Your on-site personnel benefit from a service person who can and will explain a repair situation in full, stressing preventive issues to avoid a recurrence. |

| PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE POLICY |
1. To aid in the identification of systems in wide ranging locations we employ an alpha-numeric register, making each piece of equipment unique and readily identifiable. Our experience with this procedure has always been positive, given that it removes contingent factors and facilitates decision-making. This compilation of equipment data is free of charge to all Preventive Maintenance customers.
2. Our system registry also includes a survey of equipment condition, detailing:
• age of major components
• age of cabinet
• condition of equipment derived from a comprehensive mechanical inspection
• recent repairs / replacements, where discernable
• recommendations regarding necessary repairs or imminent problems
3. Our Preventive Maintenance Service includes an optional system repair history with every invoice. All data pertaining to a particular unit will accompany our billings. This will aid in the clarification of warranty situations and readily identify problem equipment. Combined with our system registry, this information obviates a substantial bookkeeping burden on the part of the customer. It also provides instant analysis of Preventive Maintenance effectiveness.
4. All invoices and quotations will include a notice outlining system refrigerant, availability and phase-out date, if applicable. |

| SERVICE ADVANTAGES |
In addition to the above-mentioned Preventive Maintenance Policy and System Registry, we offer a free FOLLOW-UP VISIT on every repair. These follow-ups are of particular benefit to systems with intermittent problems. However, call-backs, warranty calls and downtime are all significantly reduced by this policy. All warranty coverage is on a full parts and labour basis and extends thirteen months from installation.
We offer an effective Preventive Maintenance Program which, coupled with our equipment survey, demonstrably reduces downtime and emergency service. ALL ESTIMATES ARE FREE OF CHARGE, as is travel time. Our customers are long-term, some relationships spanning over twenty years and in every instance our willingness to view service from a client perspective engenders confidence as well as savings. |

| IN-SHOP SERVICES |
Gibson-Air is the only service group in the Greater Toronto Area to offer full in-shop service for all the equipment we support. This includes complete welding, machining, painting, sheet metal and stainless steel repair. Pick-up and delivery via our trucks is free of charge. When equipment located in high-traffic areas (or otherwise inaccessible sites) requires extensive or intrusive repair, the service technician must monopolize the space around the unit, often making himself a physical obstacle to your staff while the repair proceeds. Also, fire detection and suppression systems must be deactivated to accommodate the use of a welding torch, which is a requirement of many refrigeration repairs. In such cases, shop service is the most effective alternative.
In-shop service is not only more expedient, but also more cost-effective. Evaluating the success of a repair to a piece of refrigeration equipment can be a time-consuming endeavour. Involving little more than waiting for the load temperature to slowly reach the system's set-point, this translates into increased labour charges in an on-site repair situation, since the technician must spend this additional time with your equipment. In-shop service eliminates all cost to you for this monitoring since the technician can otherwise occupy himself in the shop while your equipment cools. |
